Employment at Westlake Academy
Westlake Academy is an open-enrollment public charter school owned and operated by the Town of Westlake, and is the only municipally- owned and operated charter school in the State of Texas. Offering the prestigious and challenging International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, Westlake Academy has distinguished itself as one of the most desirable schools in North Texas.
Westlake Academy is now accepting applications for the following positions:
Spanish Teacher (full-time): Successful applicants must have exerience and/or the ability to to Spanish at all grade levels.
Primary school Classroom teacher (full-time): Successful applicants must have exerience and/or the ability to to Spanish at all grade levels.
Theory of Knowlege Teacher (part-time): This position will provide TOK classroom instruction to students in grades 11-12.
Substitute Teachers: Westlake Academy always needs great substitute teachers! If you have experience as a substitute and are interested in joining our team, we welcome your application.
Bus Drivers: Drivers will be utilized for the transportation of students to local venues, field trips, and athletic events. All applicants must be licensed to drive 18+ passenger vehicles, complete a criminal background check, and have an acceptable driving record, as determined by the Academy.
